This short guide developed by Auckland Council includes two very useful tables with what to plant when during a native restoration project.

We put together a short list with photos of the tools I found useful to have on hand when propagating trees. All of them are very affordable and are available form home improvement stores, and many are also found at "2 dollar" shops

This old book last published in 1993 makes an extremely interesting reading for a rainy afternoon. It provides comprehensive information from weed and pest control to non-native trees that could help restoration programs.
